Outside of work, Alice is a keen rock climber and enjoys spending her spare time exploring climbing routes and challenging herself on the wall. She brings the same determination, focus, and problem-solving mindset to her climbing as she does to her engineering work.

Simon Clover

Senior Project Manager

Simon Clover brings strong leadership, project delivery expertise, and a calm, solutions-focused approach to every challenge. As a Senior Project Manager, Simon oversees the coordination and execution of major projects, ensuring that client requirements are met with efficiency, precision, and the highest standards of quality.

Known for his clear communication and steady guidance, Simon combines strategic planning with hands-on understanding of onsite activity, enabling him to lead teams effectively and keep projects moving smoothly from concept to completion. Outside of work, Simon enjoys cooking and often puts his creativity to use in the kitchen. He is also an enthusiastic sailor, having competed in sailing events and continuing to spend his free time out on the water. Whether navigating a project or a sailing course, Simon brings focus, discipline, and a drive for excellence to everything he does.

Kevin Clarke

Managing Director

Kevin Clarke has been part of Clarke Welding Services since its very beginnings, having grown alongside the company his father founded. With a deep understanding of the business and its values, Kevin officially took over as Managing Director in 2007, guiding the company’s growth while maintaining its strong reputation for quality, reliability, and craftsmanship.

Under Kevin’s leadership, Clarke Welding Services has continued to expand its capabilities, strengthen client relationships, and uphold the high standards that have defined the company for generations. His strategic mindset, commitment to continuous improvement, and hands-on approach ensure that both the team and the business continue to evolve in a sustainable and forward-thinking direction.

Dedicated to his own professional development, Kevin is currently studying for a Mechanical Engineering degree alongside his responsibilities as Managing Director. His drive to broaden his technical expertise reflects his ongoing commitment to personal growth and to delivering the best possible service to clients.
